Black Tiger Families,

Thank you for working together with us as a community as we continue to navigate these uncertain times. Our Black Tiger Family is strong, and we have been impressed by the way in which families are supporting their children every day.

While Governor DeWine’s “stay-at-home” order is in effect, our faculty remains dedicated to planning and creating instructional opportunities that meet students’ learning needs. We are proud of the lessons that are being created and the work that our students are producing in the virtual learning environment.

It is important to know that since April 6, work is being counted for a grade. If an assignment is marked as missing in ProgressBook, students still have the opportunity to make up that assignment. Students or families can always email the teacher, or they may contact the teacher during office hours if there are questions.

The district is continuing to plan for instruction in two week chunks. Building administrators are meeting with teachers weekly to help refine the instructional process to meet individual student needs. We appreciate the emails, phone calls, and other contacts you have made to support your children. Teachers appreciate your feedback as we continue to honor and uphold our mission, “Every student; every day; every opportunity!”

The educational expectations for students - 2nd edition document is provided on the district website, on the district Facebook page, and is being sent via email.

Lastly, if you have not had an opportunity, we would like to ask everyone that has a "We Are Black Tigers" yard sign to put it on full display in your yard!  We are in this fight together and want to show as much support for each other as possible!
Be well, stay safe and as always Go Black Tigers!
