1. Maintain the same morning routine on in-person and remote learning days including eating a healthy breakfast and getting dressed for the school day.
2. Managing independent work for your child at home can be a challenge, particularly for younger students. Caregivers can “chunk” independent work to help a student stay focused. Short breaks are also an important way to help reset thinking and focus.
3. Remember that each child is a different learner. Helping your child remain positive and problem solve when they encounter setbacks are important ways to foster your child's success.
