Printable Summer School forms 2015

Summer is coming and with it the opportunites of Summer School.

These are fillable forms that must be returned to Mrs. Laura Dugger in the CFHS Student Activities/ Athletics offce by no later than June 6th.


Cuyahoga Falls K-3 Literacy program is an A!

Late last week, the Ohio Department of Education added the K-3 Literacy grades to the Local Report Cards. 

Cuyahoga Falls City Schools earned one of  only 27 "A" grades across the 612 public school districts in Ohio!

 

Our K-3 students were the only "A " graded K-3 grouping in Summit County!

NEW TESTING INFORMATION/SCHEDULE - SPRING 2015

IMPORTANT TESTING INFORMATION AND SCHEDULES FOR 14-15 SCHOOL YEAR

Starting with cohort 2018 (our current freshmen class), we are conducting state-mandated tests that are a part of the new course requirements for a high school diploma in Ohio. These tests are referred to as PARCC (LA and Math) and AIR (Science and Social Studies). These on-line tests are taken over a series of days and times and consist of a performance-based assessment and an end of the year assessment.  Students will be required to take seven end-of-year exams throughout their high school career in the following subjects:

  1. English Language Arts 9th
  2. English Language Arts 10th
  3.  Algebra 1
  4. Geometry
  5. Physical Science or Biology
  6. U.S. History
  7. U.S. Government (POD)
