The 5^th Grade Recognition Program will be held in the gym on Thursday, May 30 at 1:45 PM. Parents are encouraged to attend this Lincoln tradition, as we say goodbye to our 5^th graders moving on to Middle School.

On May 31^st, Lincoln Elementary School will be hosting its 3^rd annual Mini-Relay For Life event to support the American Cancer Society. The activities will start with a Kick-off and Survivor Ceremony at 9:00 AM. We invite all community members and cancer survivors to attend this ceremony to help us begin the day of celebration and relaying. Neighbors and community members are also invited to attend our closing ceremony where we will announce our fundraising total, as well as celebrate the great strides made by our amazing students, staff, and community.

If you have not paid your child's school fees for the 2012-13 school year, please send in cash or a check made payable to Cuyahoga Falls Schools at this time. All school fees (including lost book charges) are cumulative, and will carry with them through grade 12. High School diplomas will not be issued to students with any outstanding fees.

The last day of school for the 2012-2013 school year is June 5, 2013 with early dismissal at 1:20 p,m. The school office will be open through June 12, 2013 and will reopen on Monday, August 5, 2013.  Please make sure that all school fees are paid, so Report Cards can be issued to your child.

Kindergarten Orientation will be held on Wed. August. 21, at 12:30 PM.

School begins on Monday, August 26 for all K-5 students. Open House for grades 1-5 at Lincoln will be held on Thursday, August 29 at 6:30 PM. Please mark your calendars for this important parent information night.

 

Are you looking for a summer enrichment program that will be fun, educational, and help cultivate a love for science and creativity? Camp Invention might be the perfect choice for your child. Once again Cuyahoga Falls is bringing this week-long day camp to our district from July 29- August 2. It will be held at Richardson Elementary from 9:00-3:30 each day. Watch for the informational flyer to come home, or call the office for a registration form. Scholarships are available with early registration.
