End of year drop off of books and pick up student materials

We will be utilizing a drive-thru system for dropping off books (library, teacher reading books if applicable, and Journeys textbooks) and picking up student materials.  The staff members have cleaned out desks/lockers and will have student materials bagged, organized, and labeled.  Medication will also be bagged and counted and ready for distribution. Parents will need to sign a quick form at stop #2.

Parents will drive into the parking lot using the pick up lane single file. The first stop will be at the parking lot doors for drop off of books.  If you select a time during the lunch distribution, you can pick up lunches at this stop as well.  Staff members will then radio/announce student names.  Parents will then drive to the gymnasium doors and staff members will bring the student materials to the car.

Please sign up for a time to participate in the drive thru on May 19, 20 or 22 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:20-3 p.m or on May 21 from 12:00 (Noon) to 7 p.m. The link for sign-up can be found here; you should sign up your family for one time slot please.

Please note that our staff members will be scheduled throughout the week and we are unable to guarantee that your child will be able to see his or her teachers to wave goodbye on these days.

Students should also keep all workbooks and other items paid for with student fees.

We will not be collecting school fees at the drive-thru. Yes, this is a change from last week. You are encouraged to use the online Pay For It system to pay your fees. Any unpaid school fees from this year will carry over to next year. You may pay your fees when we return in the fall.

If you know for sure that your child(ren) will not be returning to the Cuyahoga Falls City School District this fall, please return any Chromebooks and charging cables received from the district in a plastic bag.  This can be done at the drive-thru. Fifth graders will return their Chromebooks in the fall at their respective middle school.

Parents and students are highly encouraged to send an email to thank staff members for this year. If you still want to give a small gift, valued at $25 or less, it can be placed in bins at the drive-thru by the parent. No food items will be accepted. Gifts or cards must be clearly labeled with the teacher’s name. This is voluntary.
